Terms of Use

Version 3.0 — September 5, 2026

These terms govern the use of the Reventis service, provided by Reventis Technologies (Quebec, Canada). They are written to be read. By using the service, you accept them.

1. The service

Reventis is a system of artificial-intelligence agents that reads your accounting documents (invoices, receipts, statements), proposes entries with the account, GST and QST, and, after a person’s approval in the Daily Review, records them in your accounting software — QuickBooks Online first. From your statements, it prepares the bank reconciliation; the reconciliation is completed in your accounting software, by you.

Reventis is not an accounting firm and gives no accounting, tax or legal advice. The service prepares the bookkeeping work; professional review, financial statements and signature remain with your accountant.

2. What the service never does

  • It never moves money out: no payment, no transfer.
  • It never calculates payroll.
  • It records nothing in your books without a recorded approval: who, when, on which document.
  • It transmits nothing to tax authorities.
  • It does not run without a person launching it.

3. Access by invitation

The product is under construction. Accounts are created by Reventis, one at a time, after a demonstration and a conversation. There is nothing to buy online and no price is published on this site. The terms of any commercial contract are written separately and signed by both parties.

4. Your account and security

Your credentials are confidential; you do not share them. Two-factor authentication is required. You use the service lawfully and you do not attempt to bypass its security mechanisms or to access another company’s data.

5. Your responsibilities

  • You approve each entry before it is recorded in your books; what is approved is approved under your responsibility.
  • You keep your own QuickBooks Online subscription and you comply with Intuit’s terms.
  • You remain responsible for your books, your filings and your financial statements, as well as their review by a professional.

6. Connection to QuickBooks Online

You authorize Reventis to access your QuickBooks Online account through Intuit’s official connection. You may revoke this access at any time, in Reventis or from your Intuit account. Intuit’s terms apply to your QuickBooks account. Reventis records in QuickBooks what you have approved and keeps only a read copy: QuickBooks Online remains your official ledger.

7. Your data

Your data remains yours, including the entries prepared by the agents on your behalf. You may export it in full at any time. The processing of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, published at /privacy.

8. Availability and liability

The service is under construction and provided “as is”, without guarantee of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, Reventis’s liability is limited. Approved entries, filings and financial statements remain the responsibility of the person who approves and signs them.

9. End of access

You may stop using the service at any time, by writing to us. Reventis may close an access with reasonable notice, except in an emergency (security, unlawful use). In both cases, you have 90 days to export your data; your books, for their part, remain intact in your accounting software.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute falls under the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.

11. Changes and contact

The version in force is always published at this address, with its date. Any important change is announced by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Questions: bonjour@reventis.io.
